Congratulations to Mr. Sean Frost for being awarded the Teacher of the month for February

Thank you for all you do to make learning fun and memorable. Check out these fun facts:

1. How long have you been working at ALA? I have been at ALA for four years and am loving it. What do you teach and what grade? I teach ELA (English Language Arts) for 7th and 8th grade. I am also working with all the 6th-8th student athletes as the Jr. High Athletic Director.

2. Where did you go to college? I have attended many schools: Arizona State University, University Of Utah, University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, and Sichuan University in China. What did you study/degree? I have 2 Bachelors degrees in History and in Asian Studies from the University of Utah, A degree in Chinese Studies from Sichuan University in China, and a Masters Certificate in Education from University of Nottingham in th England.

4. What is your favorite quote?
I feel that Jr. High school is such an important foundation building moment in everyone’s life. I have a a sign in my classroom that says, “What Starts Here Changes The World). That is my quote/motto.

5. What do you LOVE about ALA?
We have a great administration and wonderful teachers but the thing I love most about ALA is the opportunity to work with our students. I work hard to change the lives of our students,… just as they have changed mine.
